I agree completely. I am a vegetarian already, and I hope others will take this option seriously. I raise my own chickens for eggs, so other than the dairy, I feel like I do OK on this without being vegan. I try to buy dairy products from within a 100 mile radius. This doesn't solve the problem of cow methane, but at least it cuts down on my products' carbon footprint. Thanks for your good work to bring this issue to the fore!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07488876505679035140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19785125.post-69136777879388215982014-09-20T20:08:34.889-04:002014-09-20T20:08:34.889-04:00With 60 BILLION food animals on the planet, this s...With 60 BILLION food animals on the planet, this should be our first step in the Climate March!<br />http://meatonomics.com/<br /><br />"As environmental science has advanced, it has become apparent that the human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future: deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities, and the spread of disease."
