The problem with the spot they got was that when they were buried facing east, they would be facing toward the town's sleezy bar.<BR/><BR/>They were discussing this problem in the local cafe, and a local asked why they had to face east. The guy explained that they had to be buried facing Mecca. The local then asked, so then which way to the people in Mecca have to face? <BR/><BR/>Without losing a beat, the guy replied, Downtown.<BR/><BR/>Okay, so I thought it was funny.<BR/><BR/>The spirituality Muslims experience is not in Mecca the place, but in the act of coming together there and preparing for an experience together.
